I have tried out Siri on the demo iphone 4s that they show in the phone stores, one thing it disappointed me was that it doesn’t work with Australia locations. It only works with U.S locations.
I wanted to buy the iphone 4s, but now realized that it would be a big mistake. If it can’t find Australian locations, then there is no point of buying it. I need gps and maps assistance, i always type to find locations and i get tired. Having a voice assistance to find and take me there would be just perfect for me. But such a problem with this, i mean how long is it going to take before Apple updates its siri to the complete version? Siri doesn’t find Australian locations. Is Apple going to be as stupid as Nokia is? I’m saying this because Nokia promises to release updates, fixes(I hardly doubt), and firmware updates but eventually they take more than a year…if Apple is going to be like Nokia and take more than a year from now just to get siri to support Australia locations, that will be nonsense because 1 year from now i won’t need their so called siri.
And please don’t give me dump answers, the same answers i get from people who love Nokia. Because dump answers always upsets people.
If Apple is not going to get Siri to support australia locations quick enough, then i’ll go for the Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich on Samsung galaxy Nexus. I own the Nokia N8.
I just need to decide which one to buy, Samsung galaxy nexus or Apple iphone 4s (16Gb). If Apple fails me with it’s Siri and lack of support, then no point of buying it i’ll just go for the Android 4.0 that’ll be fun for sure.

i dunno if there is for winxp… my suggestion is to install mac on a vmware then do your coding in vmware.

Never had a smart phone before, but have plenty of experience with iPhones and its OS since my whole family has them and I can use them better than they can because they don’t understand. I have no experience whatsoever with Android software or any of their products, but I am definitely intrigued because it seems most technology savvy people prefer these phones, where the iPhone just seems to be a toy that is more user friendly. I’d like to ask for unbiased opinions on what to get, but most people are pretty one sided on the matter, so Id like to see what others think and why.

Also I use other apple products (i.e.: Macbook Pro, iPod touch, apple tv, etc.) so does phone compatibility with my computer matter much with a droid? because I know it won’t be a problem with the iPhone.

No because the only way to unjailbreak is to restore your iPhone via iTunes. Doing this will wipe out all data and apps. And you won’t be able to put your cracked apps on unless you jalbreak again.

You can’t own an iPhone or any other smartphone really without paying for the data plan on top of normal service…it just doesn’t work like that.

When you update your apps on your iphone through the app store, you will need a wifi connection to do so. Otherwise, just plug your iphone through your pc and open itunes and sync your iphone. Itunes will automatically update your apps for you.

If you have a wifi connectivity around you. Just connect to it then update your apps from app store on your iphone.

If you do not know how exactly to connect to a wifi go to

Settings – Wifi – it will show you a list of wifi network around you. lock means you need to provide a password — no lock means you can connect without password.

I will be updating to an iPhone 4S from my Xperia Play in a few days and was wondering if 100 mb a month is enough to access Siri & iPhone’s other features.

I will be at school for 6 hours 5 days a week, and work 4 hours, 4 days a week. The rest of the time I can use WiFi internet.

Will 100mb be enough or should I get a bigger data plan?

I use 2gb a day using Internet but I have unlimited data so get the biggest data plan you’ll need it
